PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE!
Each year, Valentine’s Day turns February into a month where we focus on love. But love comes in many forms and 2021 is likely to be a little different from previous years.
So, while we’re stuck in Lockdown #3, we thought we’d invite you to bring your words of love to an evening of shared poetry via Zoom and in aid of Linc.
The theme is LOVE in all its magical varieties – romantic love, family love, love of pets, places, things, food…
It’s up to you what words you’d like to share: a single poem, a couple of short poems, even a short piece of prose… but we’d ask you to stick to just three or four minutes, so there’s time for everyone. Feel free to bring along another piece as a back up, in case there’s free time at the end.
And if you don’t want to read, we hope you’ll still join us just to listen to what we hope will be a very special evening.
Whether you’ll be reading or listening, we’re asking for a minimum £5 donation.
The event will be held on Zoom, which most of us are very familiar with after our experiences in 2020. If you have any doubts about how that will work, do get in touch and we’ll try to help. I’ll be sending out the Zoom link in advance of the evening to those who have registered.
