The Brewery Literary Lunch - Katie Fforde at Après
Acclaimed novelist Katie Fforde is launching a new series of Charity Literary Lunches at The Brewery centre in Cheltenham on Thursday 25th June 2009.
Book lovers will jump at the opportunity to hear Stroud-based Katie talk about how she got published and read from her new book Love Letters. The event is to be held at the stylish Après bar and restaurant at The Brewery and there will be an opportunity to chat with Katie and have a copy of the book personalised.
Love Letters features bookshop-working Laura who rashly gets involved in organising a rural literary festival and the scrapes she gets into after she leads people to believe she knows a famous author personally, when in reality she only has a long distance crush!
The delicious freshly prepared food and contemporary atmosphere at Après creates the perfect venue for a lunchtime literary event to remember.
Numbers are limited so do book early to avoid disappointment. The lunch will take place at 12 noon for 12.30pm and will finish around 2.30pm.
Demelsa Coleman from The Brewery said: “We are thrilled Katie Fforde has agreed to be the first of our literary speakers, we hope to make this a quarterly event showcasing local authors.
£25 per person to include a buffet lunch, glass of wine, coffee and a copy of Katie Ffordes new book Love Letters
