Michael Stewart Runs the Bristol Half Marathon
Thank you to Michael Stewart who ran the Bristol Half Marathon for LINC.
Michael decided to run his first marathon which he dedicated to his Nan who has been treated for cancer over the past couple of years.
Michael said ""Firstly, I am delighted that I have raised almost £700 for LINC. I did not set a target, but expected/hoped to raise £500, so to have exceeded that is fantastic.
Secondly, as almost as fantastic, was that I managed a time of 1 hour 59 mins 38 secs, far better than I ever dreamed of doing for my first (and possibly only!) half marathon.
It made all the training worthwhile - and even made up for the inability to walk for a week!"
