Donating to charity has overtaken giving flowers as a mark of respect at funerals.

Donate in memory

Some of our supporters choose to celebrate the life of someone who has passed away with a donation in memory. There are a variety of ways to do this.

Collect donations instead of flowers

Whilst arranging a funeral or memorial service relatives can decide to suggest that friends and relatives donate to LINC rather than send flowers.

If you choose to ask for donations in lieu of flowers, this does not necessarily mean that there will be no flowers at a funeral. It often means that you have decided to limit floral tributes by inviting others, if they wish, to make a donation to charity.

Linc can provide the donation envelopes please contact us on
0300 422 4422 for quantities required.

Take part in a fundraising event in someone’s memory

You can do this by setting up a JUST GIVING page following this link
https://www.justgiving.com/linc

Visit the Just Giving website or contact a member of the LINC team for assistance in
setting up your page.

Place a flower in our in memorium garden

Our future vision is to create a memorial garden in the hospital grounds.
