Dave Barrow completes the Berlin Marathon

Dave Barrow, who works for Leoni Temco, took up the challenge to raise money for LINC in memory of Eileen Reynolds, mother-of-two.

After a short battle with Leukeamia Eileen died in June - Her daughters Tina Smith and Clare Reynolds inspired Dave to enter the Berlin Marathon which is the start of their major fundraising efforts.

Tina, who is co-owner of the Luna Land nursery in Cinderford, said: "What Dave's done is amazing and the money will make a real difference. When mum was going through her treatment the staff were amazing but we were struck by how much everything cost and we wanted to try and improve things for other patients."

The money raised will go toward the Edward Jenner Unit extension.
