'Celebrate Song'
Rosalind Densham is putting on a Charity Showcase Concert - 'Celebrate Song' with the aid of some of her very talented students. Local singers include Jilly and David South, Di and Brian Gowers, Steve Melton, Barbara Mustoe and David Broad. They are joined by Hilda Reed, Anna Crisp, Rosie Owen, Chris Hill, Laura Hutchings, David Laughlin and Sarah Densham.
The concert will cover a wide range of musical genres - musical theatre, classical and folk song - all ably accompanied by Alistair Eden on the piano. Popular numbers will include the Flanders & Swan classic 'The Hippopotamus', together with 'Some Enchanted Evening', songs from 'The Phantom of the Opera', 'The Vagabond' and 'Ye Banks and Braes' to name but a few!
The concert takes place on Saturday 4th July @ 7.30pm @ Victoria Hall, Bourton on the Water.
Tickets are £6.00 in advance and £7.00 on the door.
There will also be a raffle and refreshments.
All proceeds to cover costs and support the local charities LINC and The Cotswold Choral Society (1056675)
