B.I.G. Golf Tournament at Cirencester
Three Gloucestershire firms teamed up to stage a networking golf day last May – with the possibility of a new car on offer for anyone hitting a hole in one. (Sadly no-one achieved this)
Cirencester law firm Lodders, Cheltenham construction consultants Evans Jones and Tewkesbury IT Company Charlton Networks staged The Big Golf Day charity event on Tuesday May 19 at Cirencester Golf Club.
The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund was the beneficiary of this event and received a wonderful cheque for £3,000. Dr Gill Rouse, LINC
Co-ordinator said ‘This was a very enjoyable way to make such a fantastic sum for LINC. I am extremely grateful to Ian Eggleton from Evans Jones, Paul Mourton from Lodders and Richard Perry from Charlton Networks for choosing LINC and am very grateful to them all for their support.

This donation will go towards the LINC Jenner Appeal to redesign, refurnish and extend the Edward Jenner Unit at Gloucester Royal to create a countywide day unit facility for the administration of chemotherapy, supportive treatment and blood transfusion’.
