3 Peaks 24 Hour Challenge

Mason Richens, Den Jones, Paul Preston and Martin Phelps have all decided to take part in the 3 peaks 24 Hour Challenge on the 12th and 13th of September 09.

The Challenge is to ascend and descend Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scaffel Pike in England and Mount Snowdon in Wales (the three highest peaks in the UK). This is a total of 26 miles of mountain trecking and over 450 miles of driving, all in 24 hours.

"We are raising money for the Linc (The Leukaemia and Intensive Chemotherapy Fund) in memory of Mason's mum (Janet). The Linc is small hardworking and amazing charity that I hope you never need to come into contact with, but for those of us that have and will need their assistance, they truly deserve every penny that we can raise to help people through a very tough time."

"We are lucky to be in a healthy enough position to tackle this challenge, but a hard 24 Hours is nothing compared to the challenge faced by the cancer patients we aim to help."
